A bad fit vs. A good fit: How To Spot The Difference

It’s easy to spot a poorly fitted shirt once you know what to look for. Puffy sleeves, a collar that is too tight - the list can be long. We’ll walk you through the signs of a poor fit so you know what to watch for. Or, to make things easier, you can create your own unique custom-made shirt in minutes.

Telltales of a poorly fitting shirt:

- If you can fit more than two fingers between your neck and the collar, the shirt collar is too big.
- Too much fabric around the sleeves can make them look puffy, while too little fabric can make them feel too tight.
- Try lifting your arms 45 degrees. If your shirt moves up more than an inch, it may be a sign that the shoulder area is too tight.

Telltales of a perfect fitting shirt

- Does the shoulder seam sit at the edge of your shoulder? If so, the shoulder area is fitting as it should.
- The shirt cuff should end where your palm meets your wrist, about an inch from the wrist bone.
- The body of your shirt should end around the middle of your zipper.
