From Idea to Made-to-Measure
Tailor Store began in Sri Lanka, where Magnus was studying at the time. There, he was introduced to custom-made garments and the craftsmanship behind them. Pieces made to the individual’s measurements. Produced one at a time.
The experience raised a simple question. Why was this way of making clothes not more widely available?
Magnus shared the idea with his long-time friend Mats-Ola in Sweden. Together, and with Nalin leading production in Sri Lanka, they built the foundation of what would become Tailor Store.
From the beginning, the focus was clear. Made-to-measure garments, produced in our own factory, with full control over fabric, fit, and construction.
The company has grown steadily since then, but the principle remains the same. We continue to make custom-made garments one at a time, designed to be worn often and made to last.
Direct Production with Full Control
We design and produce our garments in our own factory. There are no intermediaries between design and construction, and no additional layers added to the process.
Owning and operating our production gives us full control over fabric, fit, and quality. It also means you pay for the garment itself, not for distribution chains or unnecessary margins.
From your measurements to the finished piece, each step is handled by us. The result is consistent craftsmanship at a considered price.
Made-to-Measure Since 2003
We have been making tailored clothing since 2003. Over time, we have refined our process to make made-to-measure garments consistent, reliable, and straightforward to order.
Because we own and operate our production, we can oversee each step closely, from fabric selection to final construction. This gives us control over quality and helps keep made-to-measure clothing accessible without unnecessary intermediaries.
The result is custom-made clothing, produced with care and designed for long-term wear.

> How can you calculate my measurments?
We use a data-driven sizing system that combines the information you provide with patterns developed from a large number of previous made-to-measure orders. This allows us to generate an initial size profile quickly.
The size is then refined through your design choices, preferences, and any adjustments made after your first order. If needed, it can be updated over time to improve fit consistency.
> How does made-to-measure ordering work at Tailor Store?
Each garment is made to order based on your measurements and design choices. Our sizing system is built on data from hundreds of thousands of orders and is refined continuously to improve accuracy.
If the fit is not right, our fit guarantee applies to your first order of each garment type. We review the fit and remake the garment or offer an alternative solution, so you can adjust and reorder with confidence.
> How long does it take for my dress shirt to arrive?
Delivery times vary depending on the type of garment, delivery method, and destination. Each item is custom made to order, so we provide an estimated delivery time rather than a fixed date.

> What if my dress shirt doesn’t fit?
If this is your first order of a garment type and the fit is not right, you are covered by our fit guarantee. Log in to My Page, open your order history, and select “Request remake” on the garment. Complete the form so we can review the fit and adjust your measurements.
We will resolve the issue by replacing the garment at no additional cost or, where appropriate, referring you to a local tailor.
If you have ordered before and the fit no longer feels right, contact our customer service team. We can review your measurements and update your size for future orders.
