What are chinos?
The chinos are perfect for your everyday wardrobe, somewhere between casual denim and dress pants. If you are unfamiliar with chino pants, it’s a five-pocket twill pant with a slightly dressy touch. The beauty of chinos is that they’ll go with literally anything and come in various colors and materials.
Which material are chinos made of?
Chinos were originally military trousers that gained popularity during the Spanish-American war and then later commercialized. The Spanish word “Chino” translates to “China” and refers to the sturdy and long-lasting cotton twill fabric that chino was made of in China.
Modern chinos often incorporate synthetic materials for added stretch and comfort.
