Validity of contract

By making a purchase via Tailor Store's website (hereafter referred to as the website), the following agreement between you as the customer, provided you are at least 18 years old, and the retailer Tailor Store becomes legally binding until further notice. For other types of agreements, please contact us before completing your purchase. Once you have placed your order, Tailor Store will send a confirmation email to the email address listed in your customer profile. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and to review the order confirmation carefully for any errors. If you need to change or correct any details in your order, please contact us immediately. Once a custom-made garment has been cut, meaning production has started, no further changes can be made. Information about your order status is available at any time through your customer account. Once the order has been shipped, a confirmation email with any available tracking links will be sent. The contract is regarded as concluded when the customer receives the goods.

Delivery

During the order process you will be informed about the estimated delivery time for your order. This estimate is based on current production queue and the actual time it usually takes to send an order from our tailor shop in Sri Lanka to your address.

The delivery time cannot be guaranteed, as it is only an estimate. We continuously monitor production, air freight, and final delivery, and we always work hard to deliver your order as soon as possible. Tailor Store cannot be held responsible for losses, inconveniences, costs, or other damages resulting from late deliveries.

We will charge you €35 for packages that are not accepted, collected, or that are returned to us, to cover handling costs. To avoid this charge, please collect your order within 7 days of delivery to your post office or parcel agent, or book your delivery within 7 days of your parcel entering your country.

For our Norwegian customers: Please note that packages not picked up within the specified time frame will be considered abandoned and may be subject to destruction. To avoid any inconvenience, kindly ensure timely retrieval of your order within the stipulated 7-day period.

When your order is handed over to your local carrier, you will automatically receive an email from us with a tracking link. You can also follow your order status by logging in to My Page.

Right of withdrawal

You have a right to withdraw from the agreement at any time before the expiry of a period of 14 days beginning with the day after the day on which you receive the goods without giving a reason. You must return any goods supplied at your own expense if you cancel the contract. Complaint

You have the right to make a complaint about your product for three (3) years. Any defect should be reported as soon as possible after it is discovered, or should reasonably have been discovered. Reporting a defect within two (2) months is always considered to be within a reasonable time. During the first six (6) months, the trader must prove that the defect was not present from the beginning. After that period, it is the buyer’s responsibility to show that the defect was present originally or is the result of a production fault. You must inform us if your product is defective, how it is defective, or if there has been a delay. We reserve the right to repair or replace a product without further justification. Many cases can be resolved by sending photos to our customer service team. If Tailor Store needs the product to be returned, we will provide the buyer with a return form and cover the shipping cost.

Tolerances

Tailor Store's custom-made products are always made to the measurements provided by you. When using our size guide, the measurements are calculated based on your body measurements and the preferences you select. A preview and edit option is available in your shopping cart. We generally accept slight measurement variations, as all our garments are handmade. Please also note that, in some cases, visible chalk marks or marks from ironing may be left on the garment. These usually disappear without extra treatment after the first wash. The number of buttons may vary depending on the shirt's size. The tailor chooses the best solution for each unique garment. Sometimes the lowest button is hidden for aesthetic reasons. Garments made from different rolls of fabric may differ slightly in shade due to normal variations in the dyeing process. If any other problems occur, please contact us so we can find a solution together.

Conformance

The garment shown is a visualization only. The final product may vary somewhat in construction and colour. Colour perception can vary from screen to screen, so the images are intended as a guide rather than an exact colour reference. To see and feel the individual fabrics, we recommend ordering fabric samples.

Warranty

If the measurements or design of the custom-made garment you ordered do not correspond with your order for reasons other than mentioned above, we will offer you a new product free of charge by crediting your customer account. Please note that unused credits on your Tailor Store customer account will expire after one year. Tailor Store also takes responsibility for the cost of return shipments under the condition that you return the custom-made product in the same box as it was delivered in and send with the cheapest possible shipping method. Furthermore, it is the customer's responsibility to state the correct measurements in profiles.

For customer’s assurance Tailor Store offers a Free Remake guarantee upon ordering.

The meaning of the perfect fit guarantee:

  • If your first new garment does not fit, You will get a new garment or an adjustment for free.
  • We will help you to find your measurements and update your profile.
  • No returns needed! Keep or give away the garment you cannot use to charity.

The Free Remake guarantee is valid for the first garment from each range of products: your first dress shirt, your first polo, your first pair of chinos, and so on. The Free Remake guarantee is only valid on tailor-made garments. Please keep in mind that you're not entitled to the Free Remake guarantee if you purchase a suit, suit jacket, suit pants, waistcoat, or blazer. In these cases, your fit is guaranteed using a fitting garment. If you purchase suit pants and haven't made a fitting garment on these earlier, you're entitled to the Free Remake guarantee.

The Free Remake Guarantee is not valid for B2B orders.

Gift Voucher

Gift vouchers and start packages can be redeemed on any of Tailor Store’s websites, regardless of the currency in which they were issued. Do you need help with currency conversion? Our customer support team will be happy to help. Please note that the conversion is based on the current exchange rate. Offers and/or discounts do not apply when purchasing gift cards.

To keep our prices as fair as possible, we keep our overhead costs low. This means we do not offer customer support by phone. Instead, we handle all customer service by email and aim to reply to all questions within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Potential legal disputes will be solved either through the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) in Sweden or through the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (EU ODR).

Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure, the agreement may be considered terminated without either the customer or Tailor Store being entitled to compensation, or the delivery time may be extended for the duration of the force majeure event. Tailor Store considers force majeure to include war, mobilization, acts of terrorism, blockades, labour disputes, transport disruptions, trade policy measures, new or amended legislation, strikes, failure by suppliers to deliver goods to Tailor Store, natural disasters, and any other circumstances beyond our control.
